Chesterfield Invites Community to Help Shape the New “Grand Entry” 🌳🏙️

Courtesy: City of Chesterfield

Chesterfield residents have a chance to help shape a new connection between Downtown Chesterfield and Central Park. 🌳🏙️

The City of Chesterfield is hosting an open house to gather community feedback on the proposed “Grand Entry,” a future public space designed to create a memorable gateway between the developing downtown area and Central Park.

The project will navigate approximately 48 feet of elevation, but the City hopes to make it much more than a simple pathway. Plans envision a distinctive gathering space featuring native landscaping, public art, scenic areas to pause, and design elements that reflect Chesterfield’s character.

📅 Thursday, September 24
4–7 PM
📍 Chesterfield City Hall – Council Chambers

Residents can stop by anytime during the open house to view the vision, ask questions, speak with City staff and the project consultant, and share ideas about what they would like to see included in this future Chesterfield landmark.
