More Than 7,700 American Flags Cover Art Hill in Powerful 9/11 Tribute❤️🤍💙

Courtesy: Explore St. Louis
Thousands of American flags are covering Art Hill in Forest Park this weekend, creating a moving tribute in remembrance of the lives lost and sacrifices made in the years since September 11, 2001.
Presented by Flags of Valor STL in recognition of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, the display features more than 7,700 American flags. Each flag represents a life, including U.S. service members lost during the War on Terror, while the memorial also honors the victims and first responders of September 11. 🇺🇸
Visitors are invited to walk among the rows of flags, read the names and take a moment to reflect on the individuals and families represented throughout the display.
Against the backdrop of one of St. Louis’ most recognizable landmarks, the sea of red, white and blue offers the community a powerful place to remember, honor and reflect.
The Flags of Valor display will remain on Art Hill through Sunday, September 13. ❤️🤍💙
