Chesterfield Hockey Center Expansion to Honor St. Louis Blues Legend đđ
A major expansion is coming to the Maryville University Hockey Center in Chesterfield, and part of the new space will honor a St. Louis Blues legend. đđ
The project is tied to Maryville Universityâs move toward NCAA Division I hockey and is expected to add more than 12,000 square feet of Division I-caliber space while increasing seating capacity to about 2,000 fans. The broader upgrades are designed to create a stronger game-day experience for student-athletes, fans, and the local hockey community. (NHL)
At the same time, the Chesterfield Hockey Association is pursuing a separate expansion that would add a third NHL-sized rink to meet growing demand for youth and community ice time. Construction on the combined projects is expected to move forward in phases, with completion targeted ahead of the 2027â28 season. (Chesterfield Hockey Association)
The expansion represents another big step for hockey in Chesterfield and continues the regionâs strong connection to the St. Louis Blues and the sportâs local history.

Rockwood School District is celebrating another strong showing in the U.S. News & World Report 2026â2027 Best U.S. High Schools rankings. đâ
All four Rockwood high schools â Eureka, Lafayette, Marquette, and Rockwood Summit â ranked among the top 11% of high schools in Missouri and the top 17% of public high schools nationwide.
The schools also performed especially well in college readiness, with all four ranking in the top 4.5% in Missouri on U.S. News & World Reportâs College Readiness Index.
The district credited the achievement to the hard work and dedication of its students, staff, families, and communities.
Chesterfield Welcomes Officer Dan McCune as Community Safety Officer đŽââď¸đ

Chesterfield is welcoming a new Community Safety Officer to the team. đŽââď¸
Officer Dan McCune brings 27 years of law enforcement experience to the community. During the school year, he will serve as an Elementary School Resource Officer (ESRO), helping support students, staff, and school safety. During the summer months, he will shift his focus to patrolling Chesterfield parks.
Officer McCune was joined by his fiancĂŠe, Kelly, during his welcome ceremony, where she had the honor of pinning his badge.
