The Insect Habitat-Making Class may be canceled unless more participants sign up.
After a fantastic turnout for the first class in March, the program is returning this August. Join Horticulture Site Coordinator Katelyn to learn how insect habitats can support a healthier, happier garden.
Participants will create their own bug hotel, bee habitat, or toad home to take home. It’s a fun, hands-on summer project for all ages.

$10 per participant
Children under 3 may need help from an adult. Adults who are only accompanying a child do not need to pay unless they would also like to build a habitat.

Rivian Plans New Chesterfield Dealership and Service Center

Electric vehicle maker Rivian is expanding its St. Louis-area presence with plans for a new dealership and service center in Chesterfield Valley.
The proposed 42,915-square-foot facility would be built on a 4.69-acre property at 23 Arnage Road, between the Jaguar/Land Rover and Holman Motorcars dealerships near Interstate 64. Plans call for a showroom, vehicle service area, delivery space, customer parking and outdoor vehicle displays.
The Chesterfield location would become Rivian’s second facility in the St. Louis region. The company currently operates a service and demonstration center in Hazelwood.
The project remains under review by the City of Chesterfield, according to the city’s active development listings.
