🏥 St. Louis Children’s Hospital Named No. 1 in Missouri for 18th Straight Year 🌟

St. Louis families have another reason to celebrate a major local healthcare institution. St. Louis Children’s Hospital has once again been ranked the No. 1 children’s hospital in both Missouri and the St. Louis area by U.S. News & World Report.

The recognition marks an impressive 18th consecutive year that St. Louis Children’s has held the top spot in the region. The hospital, where care is provided by WashU Medicine pediatric specialists, was also tied for No. 4 in the Midwest, a region encompassing 13 states.

The hospital earned national recognition across all 11 pediatric specialties evaluated, with six placing among the nation’s top 20. Its strongest rankings included Neurology & Neurosurgery at No. 9, Pulmonology at No. 10 and Neonatal Care at No. 12.

U.S. News evaluates data from more than 100 pediatric hospitals for its annual Best Children’s Hospitals rankings. For St. Louis Children’s, this year’s results continue a long-running record of national recognition for specialized pediatric care.

Business leaders from around the St. Louis area will soon have an opportunity to explore how artificial intelligence, leadership and business strategy are coming together during a multi-day event right here in Chesterfield.

Human by Design — Thrive in the Age of AI will take place October 1–3, 2026, bringing business owners, founders and executives together for the 67th Annual Eagle Summit. The event is designed as an immersive working experience focused on practical ways leaders can integrate AI while strengthening the human side of their organizations.

Headlining the event is Mike Michalowicz, New York Times bestselling author and creator of the popular Profit First business framework. Michalowicz is scheduled to deliver the featured keynote on Friday, October 2, focusing on profitability, priorities and building a business that better serves its owner.

The Chesterfield gathering will feature more than 20 speakers covering topics including AI, business operations, leadership, communication and sustainable growth. Attendees will also work toward creating their own AI integration plan and digital-clone blueprint, incorporating their knowledge, voice and video presence.

Looking for a unique fall outing for the whole family—or even a fun autumn date idea? Faust Park’s Folklife Festival is returning to the Historic Village for a weekend filled with history, traditional crafts and hands-on experiences.

On Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, visitors can step into the 1800s and discover what everyday life was like more than a century ago. Throughout the Historic Village, guests can watch demonstrations, explore traditional crafts, see historic cooking techniques, try their hand at rope making and experience even more activities inspired by life in the past.

With historic buildings as the backdrop and plenty to see and do, the festival offers an affordable way to enjoy a fall weekend right here in Chesterfield. 🍁
