Chesterfield residents have an opportunity to help shape the future of the city! 🌳🏙️✨
The City of Chesterfield is hosting a Future Grand Entry Open House on Thursday, September 24, from 4–7 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers.
The Grand Entry project is being planned as a connection between Downtown Chesterfield and Central Park, creating an important new gateway within the community.
Residents can stop by anytime during the open house to explore the project vision, ask questions, and share their ideas and feedback. City staff and the project consultant will be available throughout the evening to discuss the plans and hear directly from the community.
It’s a great opportunity for residents to have a voice in a project that could help shape Chesterfield for years to come. 💙

St. Louis Higher Education Leaders Gather to Discuss the Region’s Future 🎓🏙️✨

St. Louis-area colleges and universities play a major role in the strength of the entire region, and a special community conversation this September will take a closer look at what lies ahead. 🎓🏙️
FOCUS St. Louis and the Missouri History Museum are hosting a State of Higher Education discussion on September 23, bringing together leaders from several of the region’s major institutions to explore the challenges, opportunities, and future of higher education.
The panel will be moderated by Dr. Jody Sowell, FOCUS board member and president of the Missouri Historical Society, and will feature leaders from Harris-Stowe State University, Washington University in St. Louis, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, St. Louis Community College, and the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
Topics are expected to focus on how colleges and universities can continue supporting students, strengthening the workforce, and contributing to the long-term success of the St. Louis region.
Advance registration is encouraged, though not required, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. 🎓✨
