Grantās Farm Celebrates Julia Dent Grantās 200th Birthday with Historic Farm-to-Table Dinner š½ļøšļøāØ

Foodies and history lovers have a unique opportunity to experience Grantās Farm like never before while celebrating the 200th birthday of Julia Dent Grant. š½ļøšāØ
This special private evening will combine St. Louis history with an elevated farm-to-table dining experience. Guests will explore Hardscrabble alongside historians, enjoy 19th-century living history demonstrations, and take a narrated tram ride through Deer Park featuring stories from the propertyās past.
The evening will continue in the historic Bauernhof Courtyard with a welcome drink and bite before guests head to the iconic Carriage Haus for live music and a four-course farm-to-table dinner curated by Chef Sam Niemann. Food historian Suzanne Corbett will also share culinary history and insights during the evening.

Did you know your St. Louis County Library card can unlock access to a professional recording studio? šļøāØ
The Creative Lab at the Clark Family Branch includes a recording studio and control room, along with tools like a green screen, 3-D printer, Glowforge laser cutter, Cricut, Blackmagic cinema camera, and Mac computers loaded with Adobe software.
The recording studio is available by reservation, and first-time users must complete a Recording Studio Orientation before using the space. The library also offers one-on-one help through its Book a Maker program for anyone who wants assistance with equipment, software, or creative projects.

Fall is almost here, and The Magic House is celebrating with a day of family fun! ššš
Families are invited to the Fall Farm Festival on Sunday, September 27, where kids can get up close with friendly farm animals including mini horses, cows, donkeys, pigs, goats, rabbits, and chickens.
Young visitors will also have the chance to climb aboard a real tractor and enjoy a hands-on taste of farm life right at the museum. š®š“š·
The best part? Fall Farm Festival is included with regular Museum admission, making it an easy way to celebrate the season with the whole family.
