This summer, Eye Thrive is partnering with the St. Louis County Library to provide free eye exams and glasses for children ages 4–18 at select library branches.

Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with reservations accepted until 11 a.m. on each event day. Space is limited, so early arrival is encouraged.

  • July 23 – Lewis & Clark Branch

  • August 12 – Natural Bridge Branch

  • August 17 – Weber Road Branch

🐾 Animal Takeover Day at Grant's Farm

Get ready for a wild adventure at Grant's Farm during Animal Takeover Day on Wednesday, July 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For one day only, guests can meet incredible animalsβ€”some typically only seen on the Animal Encounters Tourβ€”as they make special appearances in the Bauernhof Courtyard. Enjoy up-close animal meet-and-greets, interactive demonstrations, fun photo opportunities, and the chance to chat with the Animal Care Team to learn fascinating facts about the farm's amazing residents.

Celebrate America's History Through Art & Storytelling

Celebrate America's history through art, storytelling, and community on Wednesday, July 22, at 5:30 p.m. at Chesterfield City Hall.

The evening begins with "The Birth of Freedom," a special presentation on the Declaration of Independence by former Chesterfield Mayor John Nations, followed by remarks from representatives of the Mid America Veterans Museum, The Wiegand Foundation, and Fine Art Limited.

Guests will also have the opportunity to explore a featured exhibit showcasing remarkable artwork and historical artifacts that honor the nation's heritage.
