More than 50 Lafayette High students started the school year with potentially life-saving skills. β€οΈβ€πŸ©ΉπŸš‘

Students from the school’s fall activities leadership council participated in β€œStop the Bleed” training with the Metro West Fire Protection District, learning important emergency-response skills including first aid, CPR, and how to use an AED.

The training gave student leaders practical knowledge that could help them respond confidently during an emergency while reinforcing the importance of being prepared to help others.

A big thank you to Metro West’s first responders for their continued partnership with local schools β€” and to the Lafayette students who stepped up to learn, lead, and help keep their community safe. β€οΈπŸ’™
