Ever wondered what it’s like to get behind the oars? St. Louis Rowing Club is inviting the community to Creve Coeur Lake for a series of hands-on workshops designed to introduce more people to the sport of rowing.

The Adult Learn-to-Row Workshop takes place Saturday, September 19 from 4:30–7:30 PM. Adults 18 and older will learn rowing fundamentals, practice on indoor rowing machines and get an introduction to rowing on the water from the dock. No previous rowing experience is necessary.

Young athletes can get in on the action, too. Free Youth Intro Workshops for ages 13–17 will be held September 19 and 20 from 3–5 PM. Participants can meet the coaches, learn the basics and discover opportunities to continue with the club. Youth tryouts begin September 21.

Then on October 24 from 2–5:30 PM, the club will host a special Cancer Survivor Learn-to-Row Workshop, offering survivors a supportive and empowering opportunity to experience rowingβ€”no experience required. πŸŽ—οΈ

πŸ“ All workshops take place at the St. Louis Rowing Club Boathouse at Creve Coeur Lake.
