The first 300 guests in line will receive a free Ted Drewes Concrete beginning at noon (while supplies last). After the giveaway, frozen custard will be available for purchase.

United Way 211 Expands Support for Family Caregivers

Caring for a loved one can be challenging, but help is available through United Way 211. Thanks to a new partnership with AARP, caregivers now have even greater access to local resources, services, and support.
Whether you're caring for an aging parent, a family member with a disability, or someone with ongoing medical needs, trained 211 navigators can connect you with programs, guidance, and community resources designed to make caregiving a little easier.
If you or someone you know could benefit from caregiver support, reaching out to 211 is a simple first step toward finding the help you need.
Safely Dispose of Unused Prescription Medications

Help protect your family and the environment by properly disposing of unused prescription medications. The Chesterfield Police Department offers a Prescription Drug Drop Box where residents can safely dispose of unwanted prescription drugs year-round.
Proper disposal helps prevent accidental poisonings, reduces prescription drug misuse, and keeps medications out of local waterways.
Before dropping off your medications:
Leave them in their original prescription bottles or packaging.
There's no need to remove your personal information, as all medications are securely destroyed.
Please do not place the following items in the drop box:
Illegal drugs
Syringes or injectable medications
Radioactive medications
Biohazardous materials
Inhalers or compressed air cylinders
Glass thermometers or other medical devices
Over-the-counter medications
Vitamins or dietary supplements
Loose baggies containing miscellaneous pills
Using the Prescription Drug Drop Box is a simple way to keep your home—and the Chesterfield community—safe.
