Healthy Senior Day Coming to the Chesterfield Family YMCA

The Chesterfield Family YMCA will host Healthy Senior Day on August 29 from 8 a.m. to noon, featuring a morning packed with free activities, resources, and wellness opportunities.
Guests can enjoy vendor giveaways, free food, additional group exercise classes, InBody scans, healthy living seminars, raffle prizes, and more.
The event is open to the entire community, and no YMCA membership is required. The branch will remain open as usual throughout the event.

Local Students Qualify for Junior Racquetball World Championships

Three Rockwood students are headed to the international stage after qualifying for the International Racquetball Federation Junior World Championships in Bolivia this December.
Rockwood Valley Middle School student Ryan Joeckel and Lafayette High School students Audrey Reed and Nico Suarez, members of the Lafayette racquetball team, earned spots to compete against top junior athletes from around the world.
The achievement marks an exciting milestone for the students and the Rockwood community as they prepare to represent their schools on the world stage.
